Oh boy there's a lot of new stuff: Some new screenshots of already know places and a new age called Taghira. A new QuickTime VR screenshot showing Noloben. And three ingame videos.

Ubisoft launched a teaser website for Myst V that contains screenshots, the E3 trailer and more. The site also states "Full Site Coming Soon".

Myst IV Soundtrack in May - but not in Europe
The Myst IV soundtrack is now available for pre-order in the US Ubisoft store and will be out in May. Thorsten Kapp from Ubisoft Germany told me, that the soundtrack unfortunately won't be available in Europe.

We know from the past that release dates announced that early tend to change, so enjoy this with caution: September 30 2005. This date is listed on Gamestats. Ubisoft's line up for 2005 just tells a end of summer release for Myst V.

Ubisoft hired Beenox to do the Mac conversion of Myst V: End of Ages. Beenox already did the Mac conversion for titles like Homeworld 2, Railrood Tycoon 3 or Lord of the Rings 3.

Myst IV: Soundtrack Status Update

New Riven Footage
Joe discovered an interesting video which the great website archive.org has put online. This electronic press kit features the well known Making of Riven along with some never seen before footage of Cyan, Rand and Robyn Miller and Ricahrd van der Wende. There's an MPEG1 (117.8 MB) and MPEG2 (559.3 MB!!!) version of the video available.

Ubisoft announced yesterday Myst V out of the blue. Cyan Worlds is developing the final title in the Myst-saga. Myst V: End of Ages will hit shelves fall 2005 and will be available for Mac and PC.

According to the "Spokesman Review" Myst will be available for Pocket PC's sometime in 2005, Chris Brandkamp said.
